A free program that allows file exchanges between PCs with Gmail accounts.

g2peer is a tool that interacts with the famous Gmail email service. g2peer works to share files with other users. It is, as the name suggests, a P2P program, only in place of working with the usual servers, g2peer only uses the Gmail server. To be able to use g2peer you have to work with your Gmail account. The program does everything from a virtual IP address.

So that the flow of files is possible, you need to configure the sending PC and also the receiving PC. Another difference with traditional P2P systems is that the file exchange is done with users who know each other, avoiding possible virus problems.

g2peer has an attractive interface and the program is totally free.
